Amazing read, the best one in the series yet. I am sure it's only gonna go uphill from here. Can't wait to read the next.

His books helped me to evolve from just a reader to thinker.Though i was disappointed as this book didn't include shiv tandav.Else great to know about some other small details.

Worth U R time. I like the writing of Amish and explaination towards the characters is really amazing and at the end I didn't feel that raavan is a bad guy

Loved the new perspective of series of events in ramayana and many are logical to believe them. Sita will not be Vishnu as she goes against vishwamithra knowing that he used ravana and founds Naga kingdom of meluha series with bhumi Devi as name, Rama founds meluha and Bharat founds chandravamsi kingdom, he might go against Rama as he is supportive of bhabhi. These are my predictions for next books in the series.

I like the innovative interpretation of the lives of Hindu gods that Amish presents in his stories. I was looking forward to this book since reading the first 2 in the series and this story didn't disappoint.I am disappointed at how short the book was though! It could have covered more of the series line instead of making eager readers wait for another year or more for the next in series! I hope Amish will release the next book sooner!

The true marvel of a fiction is taking the characters that we have read/seen/heard from ancient scribes and giving a backstory to that character and to make the readers understand as to why that character is important in the perspective of the whole story. Amish ticks all these boxes yet again in this beautiful, well written novel.And now we know why every hero needs a good villain and even a villain has lots of good qualities in him. And after reading the novel it was quite understandable as to why Amish changed the name of the novel from “Orphan of Aryavarta” to “Enemy of Aryavarta” though in all likelihood after reading the novel you might fell that he was neither orphan nor enemy rather he was manipulated to be a pawn by Aryavarta to raise the designated person to the stature of Vishnu.

A better book than the other two in the Ram Chandra series, we get to know Raavan. We get to learn his deepest desires and his biggest fears and his strongest characteristics. The author has managed to make us invested in this villain more than he was able to get us interested in the heroes. We grow up with Raavan, and Kumbhakarna, in a fantastical Lanka and go on an epic journey of love, anguish, desires and the eternal internal battle we all wage within ourselves between our better angels and the monsters. A must read for everyone. This book should have been the first to release, but a MUST Read nevertheless.

Author has done his research. Thoroughly enjoyable which richly deserves to be read by all who have taken interest in Ramayana. The characters presented are life like more so when compared with the old beliefs. it has a touch of modernity which the readers will appreciate in understanding this epic. Strongly recommended to all believers in Story of Ramayana. However, I always look forward to Amish Tripathi’s next book.
